What is Sitka Center?
Sitka Center is Higher Ground Counseling's program for children with problematic sexual behaviors (PSB) and the families who support them.
Sexual behavior concerns in children are often part of a larger picture—including emotional distress, trauma, family stress, and developmental needs. Our goal is to respond early, thoughtfully, and effectively so children and families can move toward safety, healing, and healthier patterns.
Our Approach
At Higher Ground, we take a holistic, family-centered approach. Rather than focusing only on behavior, we:

Collaboration & Coordination
When needed, we collaborate with schools, child welfare, medical providers, and other systems to help families navigate complex situations with clarity and support.
