Clarification and Reunification: Guidebook for Working With Youth and Families Impacted by Sexual Abuse
Keith Ovelmen LCSW, CCSOT
This book has been designed as a manual for facilitating maximum healing, safety and inclusion of family members that have been divided by the occurrence of sexual abuse. It aims to assist therapists, clients, and families through the precarious journey of the Clarification and Reunification process. Representing what can be considered best practices to ensure positive outcomes for everyone involved, this manual provides a procedural guide to assessing readiness for Clarification from both the victim and offending youth and is meant to aid therapists in navigating these processes.
